Marie-Marie was born in a small town north of Orléans and grew up in Nantes, in the western part of France, where she lived for 27 years.
After graduating high school in France, she spent a year in the United States, to be immersed in the American culture and language. She assisted her French teacher at the local high school (La Crescenta Valley High School, CA).

After coming back to France, Marie-Marie majored in English-speaking literature, civilizations and linguistics, with an emphasis on translation and phonetics. After earning her bachelor’s, she studied to get her master’s degree in Education, specializing in teaching languages. In 2018 she moved to Orange County where is she is now teaching at various structures, both to adults and adolescents.
Marie-Marie is a certified TCF/DELF/DALF examiner and she is qualified to teach at every level of French (From A1 to C2)
