Hi, I am a history/social studies and English teacher/tutor. I have experience teaching high school/middle school history courses and experience tutoring English, SAT/ACT reading and writing, and all history subjects. I was a history major and love teaching history or social studies subjects. I also have a Masters in History with a focus on Cold War America. I have a Masters in teaching social studies and use the knowledge that I have gained to help student learning. I love teaching because I love to see student growth, not just academically, but also personally as students build confidence the more they know and learn. I try to help students not only with the subject matter but also help students develop study skills that will help them become strong independent learners as well.
I have experience teaching American History, European and World History for high school students. I also excelled in all history courses taken in college and am capable of teaching any history course.
