Hi! I'm a sophomore at Johns Hopkins University, double-majoring in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics and Statistics, with a 3.7 GPA. My passion for math started early. I graduated as my high school's Valedictorian in 2025 and received the Mathematics Department Award, and I earned 5s on AP exams in Calculus BC, Statistics, Computer Science A and Principles, Macroeconomics, English Literature, and US Government, making me an AP Scholar with Distinction. I bring that same dedication and love for the subject to every student I work with.

Over the past three years, I've had the privilege of tutoring students across a wide range of ages and settings. I previously worked one-on-one with high school students through PV Tutors, helping them build confidence and improve their grades in mathematics and computer science. I also worked at Mathnasium, where I guided small groups of up to four students through concepts in a classroom-style environment. These experiences taught me how to read each student's needs and adjust my approach on the fly — whether that means slowing down to rebuild a foundational concept, using visual aids to make an abstract idea click, or working through real practice problems to prepare for an upcoming exam. I've worked with students from ages 5 to 18, in sessions ranging from 30 minutes to two hours, so I'm comfortable adapting to whatever structure works best for you.

My goal is always to help students develop a genuine understanding rather than just memorize steps. I believe that when a student truly gets *why* something works, their confidence grows naturally — and that confidence carries over into the classroom. I'm patient, reliable, and genuinely invested in the success of every student I work with. Feel free to reach out with any questions or to schedule a session!
