David, 3 lessons with RitaRita walked me through some of the hardest content in college level General Chemistry II during our session. She was very clear with her explanations and analogies, and not once did I feel the need to ask her to explain the same subject again but a "different" way. In two hours, she helped me save well beyond two days of work I'd have to do on my own to figure out how to move forward. Honestly, 10/10 experience, and I'm looking forward to working with her more over the course of the semester.
Hello, I’m Rita! Anyone can understand math and science, but they need someone to meet them where they are at with the material. I create a supportive space for a student to actively engage with the material and ask questions. Getting it wrong is part of the learning process, and my job as a tutor is to guide the student towards understanding.
