I worked as a learning and teaching assistant for 7 semesters during my undergraduate degree, as well as a chemistry and math tutor for those same 7 semesters as well. I graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. in chemistry, and minors in music and german. My experience extends to helping students both in the classroom and laboratory, working on the theories learned in lecture and applying those theories to experimental work in lab.
My students in the past have said my strongest points as a tutor are being able to break things down multiple ways. There is always more than one approach to solving a problem, and I believe all students think differently when presented with the same problem, so my teaching and tutoring style reflects this belief.
Please feel free to contact me to see how I can help you with your specific tutoring needs! I am easy to reach by email and will always provide a response to whether or not I believe I am a good fit for you. I want to make sure you benefit as much as possible from tutoring. Please note, if we do schedule a tutoring session, I need at least a 24 hour notice for cancellation, as my schedule needs to be made several days in advance.
