Extremely Confident after each lesson

After a few sessions with Lorna, I felt confident in my ability to take the AP test and pass. Lorna was able to break every problem into simple steps and was able to quickly go over topics that I had not learned. I'm glad that I met Lorna for tutoring because without her guidance, I definitely would not understand the topics in AP Statistics.

Lorna helped me with factoring trinomials, something I was REALLY struggling with, before finals. We went over a couple of different approaches until we found one that worked for me. She was patient and adaptable and really helped me understand the concept. Highly recommend!

Lorna makes math fun😄
Lorna Williams taught math to both our children when they were in middle school, and now years later our 17 year old who needed Algebra 2 help. I was relived to find out that she had pivoted into full time tutoring. Our kid did not even want a tutor and when I told him who it was, he got started immediately with excitement. I saw dread for Algebra 2 turn into a feeling of confidence and more control rather than confusion. Lorna knows how to teach in a way that is vibrant. Her 10,000 hours (plus!) teaching these concepts is obvious however her ability to connect immediately, and with sensitivity, is the intangible element that makes her a real master. Teaching is an art, and Lorna is one of the people that joyfully demonstrate this.
