I have taken graduate level phonics classes and have taught reading and spelling classes using phonetic methods. A basic understanding of phonics gives students the ability to spell and read with greater ease.

I have extensive teaching experience in the area of study skills, having taught these classes for years at the college level. The basic skills that I teach, however, can apply to students of any age, and the earlier that students incorporate these skills, the easier it will be for them to succeed. I have not only taught these skills in the classroom, but also raised three successful learners of my own.

Patient, knowledgeable and responsive

Our first lesson was wonderful. She took extra time to make sure my son understood the lesson fully and was able to finish in his own. We will use her again for sure!
