Test Prep and High School Tutor

I have 15+ years experience helping students pass high-stakes tests (SAT, GED, and ACT) and classes. I tutor almost any high school subject, including algebra, physics, chemistry, Spanish, and French. I have often worked as a homework buddy, helping students complete homework assignments and teaching them what they do not know as we go along. I find that this is an effective use of time, as students get their work done as they learn.

I'm certified in Secondary Education in Spanish, English, Mathematics, and Biology. I'm also certified in Adult Education (which is GED). I have worked as an after-school SAT prep teacher and a GED teacher in addition to teaching standard high school classes, teaching college courses, and private tutoring.

I have several Master's degrees. I have experience helping teachers obtain their teaching certification by working with them to prepare for tests like the EAS, SWD, or subject tests. I work with teachers to create lesson plans and activities as well.

I have tutored several students through graduate school in education, psychology, and life coaching. I also assist with organization, emails, resumes, and more.
