I have 25 years' experience in the educational system, serving students in K-14 levels. I started my teaching experience by coaching volleyball and basketball at the JV level. Half of my student teaching was done in an exchange program to Dublin, Ireland at St. Paul's giving me an international experience. I also escorted a Varsity level volleyball team to Australia and New Zealand as their coach, adding to my international experiences. My classroom experiences include 20 years of high school teaching, including the following subject areas: Biology, Life Science, Earth Science, Physical Science, Physical Education, Graphic Design and basic computer skills. I am able to utilize these experiences to enhance my tutoring and rapport with my students as well as my ability to teach "outside the box." Since 2008 I have been substitute teaching K-12 in the public education system as well as donating time to tutoring home schooled children. Myself being a visual and kinesthetic learner allows me to help similar type learners effectively.
