I have a valid California teaching credential and Montessori teaching certification. My experience in language arts includes 1st - 8th grade. My experience in math includes 1st - 6th grade. Over the past 30 years, I have taught in a private school and have tutored on the side.

I have tutored students using Common Core methods. My previous school uses Montessori methods to teach. However, students who transferred into my class from public school were taught math using Common Core. I transitioned those students from Common Core to Montessori. I taught 1st - 8th grade in a Montessori school.
