I studied Electrical Engineering at Northeastern University before eventually discovering a love for Physics, and earning my BS in Physics from City College of New York in 2018.

After working as an engineer for several years, I switched my focus to education and have dedicated the last 5 years of my life to helping struggling students succeed and gain confidence in their Math and Physics courses at high schools and colleges across the country.

Ideally, I'm looking for College STEM majors in need of ongoing and consistent support with their College Physics and Mathematics courses.

I am physically located near the University of Arizona if you're a student there and interested in meeting in person.

Probability

Probability

Statistical Mechanics, my personal favorite subject, is a misnomer. It should be called Probabilistic Mechanics. It is a direct application of probability theory to large collection of atoms and molecules, where macroscopic measurable state variables correspond to ensemble averages. Differential equations disappear when discussing microscopic details, as there is a lack of information due to the practical inability to measure the state of the system. You must deal with averages. With probability. The math required to be proficient in statistical mechanics is probability.

Phenomenal tutor!

Chris is an exceptional tutor - no need to look further! Chris is one of those tutors that are hard to come by. He is extremely knowledgeable & patient, and personalizes each session. Chris has helped my daughter understand challenging physics concepts, and always goes above and beyond in ensuring she’s grasped complex problems. He genuinely cares and takes the time to explain the various topics at hand. If you are looking for a kind, dedicated and extremely knowledgeable physics tutor who makes every lesson fun & engaging, I highly recommend Chris!

Great tutor

Christopher is the great tutor, who really understands the physics and can explain it. Christopher emphasizes the understanding of the processes and forces not just memorizing formulas, and by that he makes his students to improve.

Very Enthusiastic

Chris really tries to get you to understand the fundamentals of the topic he is discussing and it becomes very helpful as one can apply the information learned in many ways. He is very patient and will guide you when needed, but also enjoys to see you understand the topics yourself

Great tutor

Chris has worked with our daughter for several sessions. He has consistently been a huge help with test prep and explaining physics and calculus concepts. Our daughter says he is good at explaining things and helps her work through problems so they can figure out the gaps. She likes that he is collaborative not a lecturer.

Great teacher

Got through a lot of information to help me get ready for my exam. Went into detail to get me to understand why I was doing each step. Feel much more comfortable with material now!

Knowledgeable and Very Helpful

Helped provide clarity and explained concepts in a way that my daughter felt so much more confident in her course work and test. Also was extremely responsive and able to fit in a very last minute request for a session.

Energetic and knowledgeable

Chris was very thorough, he asked for my son's syllabus then designed the lesson to coincide. He used a lot of visuals which was great for my son due to his learning disability and made sure Sean had them as reference for his upcoming quiz. We will continue to use him this entire year.
