I have a Master's in Chemistry from the University of Arizona, and I did my BS in Chemistry at the University of Georgia with minors in Mathematics and Comparative Literature. I have a Master's in Chemistry from the University of Arizona, and I did my BS in Chemistry at the University of Georgia with minors in Mathematics and Comparative Literature. In high school I was named as the STAR Student for my county for having the highest SAT score in the county, including a perfect 800 in SAT Mathematics, and at the University of Georgia I was awarded the 2014-2015 Undergraduate Student Award by the American Chemical Society for our region. I earned a 94th-percentile Quantitative and a 99th-percentile Verbal Reasoning score on the GRE, and I also earned a score of 5 on both the AP Chemistry and AP Calculus BC exams.

I have years of experience teaching laboratory chemistry (general and organic) during both my undergraduate and graduate degrees, and I have tutoring experience in Organic Chemistry and General Chemistry at the college level as well as Mathematics tutoring experience at both college and high school levels (Algebra through Calculus). I am generally very flexible as a teacher, and I like to work with people. I have a good way of seeing where a student can improve, and given advance notice of the topics being covered, I like to come prepared with teaching materials that can help students learn.

In addition to math coursework beyond multivariate calculus, I achieved a perfect 800 in SAT Math and a 94th-percentile on the Quantitative Reasoning section of the GRE. I have been tutoring various levels of mathematics since I was a high school senior, and I firmly believe that math is something that anyone can learn from the right angle rather than a subject that only certain people "get."

In addition to a perfect AP Chemistry score, I have an undergraduate and graduate school background in organic chemistry. I have years of teaching and tutoring experience, and I stress the importance of going beyond memorization to understand chemical concepts. While memorization is always involved, chemistry is much easier to grasp and rules are easier to remember if the student has a fu
