I'm a recent MA English grad who has been a freelance writer/editor for decades. I'll be teaching ASL 101 at Pima College in the spring 2019 semester. A really personable, enthusiastic guy who cares deeply about education. I love working with people and will strive to improve your work.

I am profoundly deaf; my first language is American Sign Language. I also speak and read lips very well. Communication with a wide variety of people is something I've always taken pride in.

I'm Deaf. I am fully immersed in the Deaf World and consider ASL my primary language. I also grew up learning in the oral method, so I have a good idea of what it's like to be learning ASL.

I received my Master's in English last spring with a 3.93 GPA. I'm a talented writer who loves to dive into the craft. I also have written countless lit papers over the years as well as essays in philosophy, linguistics, teaching pedagogy and much more. I also have strong skills in social studies and history.

I'll be a college professor within a few years. I never get tired of teaching and learning through interaction. You'll teach me as much as I will teach you, I'm sure of it.
