As a young adult I lived in France for five years, where I was able to develop my fluency in the language. I return to France to visit periodically, which allows me to maintain my speaking ability. In addition, I frequently read and write in French to make sure that I remain strong in those areas.
In addition to having a degree in French literature, I lived in France for five years. I also have experience as an interpreter and translator. Since returning to the U.S. I have visited France numerous times and work to maintain my fluency.
