I have spent the past twelve years as an eighth grade civics/government teacher. I also have extensive knowledge of American History with knowledge of both European and World history. I firmly believe that while technology has its place in present day education the basic skills of reading to understand content and developing good writing skills still have an important place in becoming a successful student. I am passionate about my subject matter and ask questions of my students--- questions that challenge them to think.
