My strength as a math tutor is that I explain mathematical concepts and skills very well, backed by 30+ years of extensive experience in mathematical and statistical analysis.
The following is a summary of my past interest and experience in math tutoring:
• From 2020-2023 at Huntington Learning Center in Fort Collins, tutored 15 individual students in Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Algebra II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus and Calculus
• From 2019-2023, tutored 10 private individual students in Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Algebra II, College Algebra, Statistics and Engineering Mathematics
• From 2015-2019, tutored Pre-Algebra and Algebra at High Plains School in Loveland
• From 2017-2023, presented talks on the Apollo Program to many adult and youth audiences in Loveland and Fort Collins, including the Northern Colorado Astronomical Society, Fort Collins Senior Center, Loveland Library, Loveland Rotary, Loveland Historical Society and High Plains School
• In 2012, taught a 10-hour self-designed course to adults on statistical literacy at CSU's Osher Program called "Lies, Damned Lies and Statistics"
• As a student at M.I.T., designed and taught a 6-week class for two semesters on "Airplanes and Space Flight" to area high school students at "M.I.T. High School"
