I earned my B.S. in Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology from the University of California, Santa Barbara. After graduating in 2020, I worked as a Laboratory Technician at the Colorado Department of Public Health before joining the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus as a Professional Research Assistant, where I spent two years conducting biomedical research. I am currently in the final year of my Ph.D. in Molecular and Cellular Biology at the University of Arizona.
Throughout my Ph.D., I have gained extensive experience mentoring and teaching students. I served as a teaching assistant for a college-level bioinformatics course and have trained numerous students in laboratory techniques and experimental workflows. My research has also provided me with strong skills in experimental design, data analysis, and scientific writing which are core competencies for success in the biological sciences.
With a combination of teaching experience, research expertise, and a strong foundation in cell biology, I am well-equipped to tutor students at all levels, from middle school through college. I am committed to helping students build confidence, deepen their understanding, and achieve academic success in biology.
