I am also a certified Secondary English Teacher in Arizona.
My classroom experience spans middle and high school ELA, where I have taught reading, writing, grammar, and literary analysis. I have also worked with first-generation college-bound students through Upward Bound TRIO, supporting them in academic writing and reading comprehension. As a private French tutor, I work with students at the elementary and secondary school levels, adapting my approach to each learner's pace and learning style. I am equally comfortable in structured lesson formats and more flexible, conversational sessions.
My teaching philosophy is rooted in meeting students where they are and building from there. I believe in making material relevant and approachable without sacrificing rigor.
