Hi! I’m a tutor with a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts and a strong academic background in French, writing, literature, and close reading of texts. My academic training emphasized clarity of thought, careful analysis, and disciplined close reading, with a focus on developing deep understanding rather than relying on memorization alone.

I enjoy helping students build confidence and feel more at ease with challenging material. I work with students on essay writing and revision, reading analysis, AP English, college essays, SAT / ACT verbal preparation, French language study, and Bible Studies approached with care and respect for the text. My goal is always to make learning feel structured, logical, and approachable.

I frequently assist students studying French I–IV, focusing on making grammar feel intuitive rather than mechanical, strengthening reading comprehension, and building confidence with the language. In writing sessions, I help students develop clarity, structure, and persuasive style for academic assignments, standardized tests, and application essays.

In Bible Studies, I emphasize careful, respectful reading of the text, encouraging thoughtful interpretation while remaining attentive to context, language, and meaning. I also enjoy supporting students in subjects that benefit from analytical thinking and conceptual understanding, including introductory physics.

My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and well-organized. I focus on clear explanations, steady progress, and adapting sessions to each student’s pace and learning style. I especially enjoy working with students who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or intimidated by a subject, helping them regain clarity and confidence step by step.

I genuinely enjoy both learning and teaching, and I bring a warm, positive, and attentive energy to every session.

Bible Studies

Bible Studies

I studied the Bible extensively at St. John’s College as part of a rigorous Great Books curriculum emphasizing close reading, textual analysis, and discussion-based interpretation. My work involved sustained engagement with biblical texts, including written analysis and seminar-style dialogue. I also led a reading group focused on exploring biblical themes, structure, and meaning. I help students develop clarity in interpretation, strengthen analytical thinking, and engage confidently with complex passages.
Essay Writing

Essay Writing

I developed extensive essay-writing experience at St. John’s College, where the curriculum is centered on analytical writing, close reading, and argument-driven essays. I have written dozens of essays across disciplines, refining skills in structure, clarity, and persuasive reasoning. I also completed a yearlong capstone project requiring sustained research, drafting, and revision. I help students strengthen thesis development, organization, and analytical precision while building confidence in their writing.
