I hold a bachelor’s degree in Finance and have over eight years of professional experience supporting students and adult learners in academic, analytical, and communication-focused environments. Most recently, I worked as a Senior Academic Counselor, where I supported college students one-on-one with writing, organization, study strategies, reading comprehension, and academic planning. In that role, I regularly helped students clarify assignment expectations, structure essays, strengthen arguments, revise drafts, and build confidence in their communication skills. I also coached students on time management, goal setting, and effective study habits to improve academic performance and follow-through.

My tutoring approach is patient, collaborative, and practical. I focus on helping students understand why something works, not just what the answer is, so they gain confidence and independence over time. Sessions are structured but flexible, depending on the student’s learning style and immediate goals. I frequently work with high school, college, and adult learners in one-on-one settings, both live and online.

In addition to academic advising, I have experience in professional writing, editing, and document preparation through independent publishing and freelance editing projects. This strengthens my ability to support writing mechanics, clarity, organization, formatting, and revision strategies. I am also comfortable helping students improve productivity using Microsoft Word and Excel for document formatting, outlines, citations, spreadsheets, and basic data organization.

Students often appreciate my calm communication style, clear explanations, and supportive approach. My goal is to help learners feel capable, organized, and confident in their academic and professional work.
