I’m a senior at the University of Arizona majoring in Physiology with a strong foundation in biochemistry, chemistry, and biology. As a pre-med student, I’ve taken and excelled in a range of upper-division science courses that require a deep understanding of how molecular and cellular concepts connect to human physiology. I also served as a biochemistry preceptor, where I guided students through complex material and helped them develop more effective study and problem-solving strategies.

I have one year of formal tutoring experience, working one-on-one with college students to improve their grasp of biochemistry and related subjects. My approach focuses on breaking down difficult topics into manageable, intuitive parts. I like to use analogies, diagrams, and practice problems to help students visualize the logic behind the material rather than just memorizing it. I’ve found that this method builds real confidence and helps students retain concepts long-term.

I enjoy working with motivated students at the college or advanced high school level who want to strengthen their understanding or prepare for pre-medical coursework. My goal as a tutor is to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel supported and challenged to reach their potential.
