I'm Miriam! I graduated from Grand Canyon University with a master's in education and am certified by the State of Arizona to teach all core subjects (English, Math, Science, and Social Studies). More importantly, I have been working in education for seven years, primarily as a professional tutor with some classroom experience. I have taught all ages, from elementary all the way up to college students.

I will not show up with a preset curriculum that I expect you or your child to follow. Instead, I will work with them to create a curriculum and learning plan built around their needs. I have experience working with students who have learning disabilities, are behind and need to catch up, or who are struggling with their current school environment. I never judge students for their performance. Instead, I will meet them where they are at. My goal is to give them the skills to become lifelong learners, to show them how learning can be fun and engaging. As long as they are willing to learn, I will teach them.
