Dear Future Student,
I’m excited you're taking steps toward your academic and career goals. Whether you're preparing college applications, writing personal statements, or planning your future, I’m here to support you every step of the way.
I’m a first-generation college graduate with a Master’s degree in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling. I know how overwhelming the college and career process can feel, especially if you’re navigating it on your own. My goal is to help make that process clear, manageable, and empowering.
For the past two years, I’ve worked as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor for the state of Arizona. I’ve helped students and job seekers identify their strengths, explore opportunities, and craft powerful personal statements and applications. I work mostly one-on-one with high school and college students—many of whom are first-generation students or face additional barriers to success.
My tutoring style is patient, encouraging, and goal-focused. I start by learning what matters most to you—your story, your goals, and what you hope to achieve. From there, we’ll work together to build strong writing skills, clarify your message, and boost your confidence. Whether you're writing a college essay or exploring your next steps, I’ll be here to help you stay focused and move forward.
I look forward to supporting you as you take this next big step!
Warmly,
Fernando P
