Hello, I’m Gavin! Currently, I am working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting along with a minor in Music. I have a 3.9 GPA and have made the Dean's List for three years. Following my graduation in Spring 2026, I plan to work toward a Master’s degree in Accounting. Throughout high school and college, I found learning to be easiest when it is done with patience and practice (and sometimes a lot of it). Everyone has a different way of learning and understanding not only what they’re taught in school but also the world around them, which is why I make it a goal to tailor my tutoring services to suit people’s learning experiences the best way possible. Outside of services, I have also helped numerous peers with business writing, public speaking and presentation, and accounting work and received valuable feedback that improved my tutoring capabilities.
Additionally, in my junior and senior years of high school, I was a member of the National Honor Society and would provide tutoring and community services. I helped students in various subjects, such as Math, Physics, English, and Economics. Typically, my tutoring sessions would be for one or two students at a time, which would allow me to give more attention and assistance to them. I found my most effective method in tutoring to be reframing topics so they can be better understood from different perspectives. Using analogies, mnemonics, and active recall techniques were tools I commonly used to apply that method.
I hope that my tutoring can be nothing short of a wonderful resource for all students and parents, thus why I welcome any suggestions or feedback. Please reach out to me if you have any questions or would like to schedule an appointment!
