I'm an enthusiastic tutor with over 18 years of experience working with high school and college students in math, Spanish, and linguistics courses. I have worked for various tutoring programs at the University of Arizona and taught math at the high school level.

I have worked with college students of various backgrounds, including students preparing for math placement tests, students taking their sole math requirement for their degree, and engineering majors who have to complete differential equations at minimum. Whenever I work with students, I make sure to adapt my tutoring style to meet the needs, goals, and specific situation of each student.

What sets me apart from other tutors is that I provide and execute a plan for success. In addition to helping students work through difficult concepts and questions, I also provide students with both math-specific and general academic coaching, tips for what and how to study outside of class and tutoring, and study materials catered to each student's specific course.

The college math courses I most commonly tutor are Calculus 1/2/3 and Intro to Differential Equations, but I also work with students in Precalculus and College Algebra and students preparing for math placement tests. The high school math courses I most commonly tutor are AP Calculus AB/BC and Precalculus/Trigonometry.

I also tutor linguistics courses including introductory linguistics courses, introductory syntax and phonology courses, and Spanish linguistics courses including Spanish phonetics, phonology, and syntax.
