I recently graduated with honors with a Master's degree in Justice Studies and the highest award from my college. Previously, I graduated from my university's Honors college. In high school, I took 15 AP and IB classes. Throughout college, I tutored high school students in IB English, history, SAT test prep, and mathematics up to pre-calculus. As a recent graduate who worked multiple jobs throughout school, I am highly empathetic towards the experiences of students who manage a heavy workload. I focus on creative, personalized lesson plans that incorporate stress management and strategies for neurodivergent brains.
I teach students quick-reading strategies and practical essay writing frameworks that will help them develop critical thinking and argumentative writing skills, all the way up to a graduate level where students will be equipped to handle an inundation of dense readings! My true passion is helping students develop independent research projects in the social sciences, from building the bones of the project to zipping through the literature review to finally preparing the thesis. I have helped students with many challenging writing projects, from mastering IB exam writing to sending research reports to publication.
