I am Dr. Darya Dolenko. I have Master degree in Physics and PhD in Physics Education. I have been teaching since 2003. My 23 years of teaching experience includes teaching Physics and Physical Science to middle and high school students. Then teaching Physics at Comminity College and University level. Teaching is my passion. I enjoy helping students to observe the phenomena, establish the connection and the relationship between different quantities. It is always interesting to build the discussion about the phenomena to understand it and then changing it to the math language. I have been successful in finding the way to explain physics to the students of different age with different math skills. I will be glad to help you to understand this challenging subject and to be able to solve the problems and pass the tests, if needed. I also have experience in tutoring Algebra and Trigonometry, Calculus.
I always have a lesson plan ready. It helps to use time of the lesson efficiently. Also, I have solid experience of teaching online.When I am teaching online I have all the tools available: white board, pictures, demonstrations. The quality of on-line instructions is as good as the meeting in-person but it saves time to go to a meeting place. Otherwise, I usually meet in library or any other convenient public place for a lesson.
