I would be more than happy to be your next tutor. I know that I can bring my strong educational and professional experiences to generate logical connections between the beautiful language of Mathematics and Physics. My educational experiences has lead to understanding nature at the "nano" level and further into the Quantum level while using a full range of Mathematics to conceptualize and describe each problem. In addition with my research background in atomic and nano physics, I know the importance of fundamental building blocks; therefore, I like to give explanations at the fundamental level where the tutee can comprehend every single problem. My professional experiences has lead to effective communication in the areas of teaching and intellectual property. Having 4+ years of teaching experience at the university under my belt, I can communicate with anyone on any grade level to enhance a particular subject's mastery. Also, I am constantly analyzing applications for the USPTO which gives me unlimited examples of technology to provide students to better understand a physics problem.

My main focus is to understand every student's learning method and convey a step-by-step solution to each problem by giving the student the right tools for the problems they will encounter. This primary focus is what sets me apart and really gives the tutee the best understanding in physical and mathematical concepts.

For an easy breakdown on understanding of Math and Physics problems, I will be available for you. Contact me to set up a tutoring time.

Knowledgeable and patient

Jonathan did a fantastic job tutoring my daughter with her online physics course. He was very knowledgeable on all the course topics and worked patiently with my daughter until she understood the material.

Great College Calculus tutor patient and knowledgeable

Jonathan was a very patient and helpful tutor. He is working with me on college Calc and he simplifies it for me and I only wish I used him from the beginning of the semester. He is an outstanding tutor.

Great at explaining difficult concepts

Johnathan is my favorite physics tutor I’ve found on wyzant. We did practice problems and he helped guide my thinking to the solution instead of just doing it for me. I felt completely lost before my lesson with him but then I got an A on my exam! I’ll definitely be scheduling more lessons.

Knowledgeable and patient tutor

I just started working with Jonny and it's already making a huge difference. He takes the time to really make sure you understand the material and he is very easy to talk to. He has even gone out of his way to look for additional resources that I can look at in between our lessons which I really appreciate.

Amazing tutor!

Jonathan broke down physics in a way I could understand and process. I had no idea how to approach any physics problems, but now thanks to his help I am able to figure out how to work through them. I really needed to pass this class and I could not have done this well without his help and explanations. He is so patient and outlines each concept in such simple, easy to understand terms and I now have much more confidence in myself in this subject.

Knowledgeable and patient

I was amazed how much more simple physics could be by Johnathan's help. I've spent hours in lectures and seeking help from all sorts of sources. However, when it wasn't making sense, Johnathan's explanations and analogies of the topic made it much easier to understand. He's helped me out tremendously and I'm very grateful and lucky to have found him as a physics tutor. Nothing but good things to say about him.

Very patient and knowledgable tutor!

I am the student that was tutored and he is an amazing tutor! My worst subject is physics and he helped me raise my grade from a B- to an A+!!! That's some skill!!! He did this all in ONLY 1 hour. So thank you so much!!!! I'll definitely schedule another session in the near future.

Excellent Tutor!

We contacted Jonathan to help our son with Physics homework and test prep. He immediately responded to our email and we set up a tutoring session for the next afternoon. Jonathan had asked what topics my son wanted to go over, so I was able to send him the school homework website sign on information before the first tutoring session. Since Jonathan had already reviewed the homework, he was prepared and they were able to accomplish a lot. My son is very happy we found such a great tutor that is helping him understand the concepts and improve his grades. Jonathan is prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Jonathan as a tutor.
