My approach to learning is rooted in the belief that anyone can master a challenging subject with the right guidance, practical strategies, and a strong foundation. I graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies, and continued my education at the University of Southern California, where I pursued a Master of Architecture. Throughout my academic journey, I maintained a strong academic record while balancing extracurricular activities, professional responsibilities, and ambitious design projects. My experience has taught me how to approach complex material, manage demanding workloads, and develop the skills needed to succeed in competitive academic environments.
Professionally, I have gained experience in world-renowned architectural design through work with Walt Disney Imagineering and Foster + Partners, where I have contributed to design development, 3D modeling, visualization, and collaborative projects.
These experiences have strengthened my ability to break down complex concepts, think critically, solve problems, and communicate ideas clearly. I can help students develop practical skills in architectural design, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Cloud softwares, 3D modeling, design presentations, portfolio development, as well as build effective study habits and confidence in their academic work.
As a tutor, I aim to make learning approachable, engaging, and tailored to each student's needs and goals. I believe in explaining not only how to complete a task, but why a method works, so students can apply what they learn independently. Whether a student is learning design software for the first time, working through a challenging assignment, or preparing a portfolio, I focus on patient, step-by-step guidance, hands-on practice, and constructive feedback. My goal is to help every student leave each session with a clearer understanding of the material, stronger skills, and greater confidence in their abilities.
