Hi! I’m a Chemical Engineering graduate from Arizona State University and am currently pursuing my M.S. in Chemical Engineering. I also have several years of engineering experience in the semiconductor industry.

I know firsthand that subjects like chemistry, calculus, physics, and engineering can become frustrating when they’re taught too quickly or with too much unnecessary complexity. My goal is to break problems down step by step, explain why each step works, and help you build enough understanding that you can solve similar problems on your own.

I’m especially comfortable helping with General Chemistry, Algebra, Precalculus, Calculus, introductory Physics, Thermodynamics, and introductory Chemical Engineering topics.

My tutoring style is patient and interactive. Rather than simply giving you the answer, I’ll help you identify what information matters, choose the right equations or concepts, and work through the problem logically. I’m also happy to adjust how I explain something until we find a way that clicks for you.

Whether you’re preparing for an exam, struggling with homework, or just trying to strengthen your understanding of a difficult topic, I’d be happy to help.

Approved Subjects

Chemistry

Chemistry

I earned my B.S.E. in Chemical Engineering from Arizona State University and am currently pursuing my M.S. in Chemical Engineering. My engineering education required an extensive chemistry background, including general chemistry, physical chemistry, thermodynamics, chemical reactions, and material and energy balances. I also have several years of engineering industry experience, where I regularly work with chemical processes and apply chemistry concepts in real-world situations. I focus on explaining chemistry in a clear, step-by-step way, especially topics like stoichiometry, dimensional analysis, atomic structure, bonding, gases, solutions, equilibrium, acids and bases, and thermochemistry. My goal is to help students understand why the chemistry works rather than simply memorize equations and procedures.
Elementary Math

Elementary Math

I earned my B.S.E. in Chemical Engineering from Arizona State University and am currently pursuing my M.S. in Chemical Engineering. My background has given me a strong foundation in math and problem-solving, and I’m comfortable helping elementary students with addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, word problems, and other core math skills. I focus on explaining concepts in a simple, patient, and encouraging way so students understand how to solve problems instead of just memorizing steps. My goal is to help students strengthen their fundamentals, build confidence, and become more comfortable working through math on their own.
Elementary Science

Elementary Science

I earned my B.S.E. in Chemical Engineering from Arizona State University and am currently pursuing my M.S. in Chemical Engineering. My background gives me a strong foundation in science, math, and problem-solving, and I enjoy helping younger students understand how science connects to the world around them. I’m comfortable helping with topics such as matter, energy, weather, ecosystems, basic chemistry, forces and motion, the scientific method, and other elementary science concepts. I focus on using simple explanations, relatable examples, and step-by-step guidance so students can understand the ideas instead of just memorizing facts.
