Hi! I’m Isaac, a senior aerospace engineering (astronautics) student at Arizona State University with a 3.83 GPA and Dean’s List recognition, and I plan to continue into a master’s degree in aerospace engineering. My areas of expertise span mathematics from elementary foundations through algebra, Calculus I, II, and III, differential equations, and statistics. I also specialize in physics and engineering topics, including aerodynamics, fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, structures, statics, and circuits. I have completed internships with Boeing and Northrop Grumman, where I used classroom concepts to solve real technical problems. That experience helps me explain not only how to solve a problem, but also connect it to real tangible application.

I spent an academic year as a teaching assistant for ASU’s Circuits I course, helping engineering students break down difficult concepts and build stronger problem-solving habits. I also have spent the last 3 years mentoring first-year engineering students as a Community Assistant. My tutoring style is patient, encouraging, and interactive. I begin by finding the exact step where something stopped making sense, explain it in clear language, and work through examples until you can confidently solve the next one on your own. Questions are always welcome, and there is never any judgment if you need something explained in a different way.

I earned a 29 on ACT Math before completing Calculus I–III, differential equations, and statistics as part of my aerospace engineering degree. Throughout college, I have helped peers and friends with math countless times, learning how to quickly identify the concept or step holding a student back. I teach algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and word-problem reasoning through clear, repeatable methods. My goal is to help students become faster, more accurate, and more confident on ACT Math.

Point guard is my primary position, but I have played the 1, 2, 4, and 5, giving me a strong understanding of both perimeter and post play.
