Hi, I’m Ben, a mathematics major at Arizona State University with a strong background in algebra, precalculus, and calculus. Through my coursework and experience, I’ve developed a deep understanding of core math concepts and how to explain them clearly. I’ve spent time helping classmates, friends, and younger students with math, and I’ve consistently focused on breaking down complex topics into simple, understandable steps. I’ve always enjoyed math because once you truly understand how something works, there’s very little memorization involved, and that’s the mindset I bring into every tutoring session.

In my sessions, I focus on helping students build real understanding rather than just memorizing procedures. I typically introduce the concept in a clear and simple way, walk through an example, and then guide the student step-by-step as they solve problems on their own. I’m comfortable working with younger students and know how to keep them engaged while also being patient and encouraging. I adapt to each student’s learning style and pace, whether they need homework help, test preparation, or a stronger foundation. My goal is to help students feel confident in math and capable of solving problems independently.
