As a student in the Honors College at ASU, I have learned many techniques and skills in the field of English, including argumentative writing, reading comprehension, and exploring texts in greater depth. Due to this foundation and my natural love for all things English, I feel confident tutoring classes or test prep related to the written word. For more reassurance, in High School, I received a 5 and a 4 on the AP English Language and Composition and AP English Literature and Composition exams, respectively. Furthermore, I received a 35 on both the English and Reading portions of the ACT, contributing to an overall ACT score of 34, and I received a 770 on the SAT English portion, contributing to an overall score of 1520. Besides those scores, I've received A's on every English-related course I've taken from elementary school up through college, and continue to love reading and writing in my free time. Whether you need help on a big exam or just need a little boost in your English class, reading skills, or even suggestions for fun books to read, I am confident in my skills and experience to aid you.
Even if you need help with essays for other topics like history, science, seminar, or research, or even technical papers for STEM-related fields, I've had experience in all forms of writing and am happy to help. I am a STEM major myself, aspiring to become an aerospace engineer, but I chose to tutor English because reading and writing skills of any kind are key to communication and success.
