I am a dual major in Psychology and Family & Human Development at Arizona State University, where I am part of Barrett, the Honors College and maintain a 4.0 GPA. My academic background includes advanced coursework in psychological science, human development, research methods, statistics, writing-intensive social science courses, and communication. I have also completed IRB certification and conducted research across several cognitive and behavioral labs, which strengthened my analytical, writing, and communication skills.
I have over two years of teaching and tutoring experience as a university Teaching Assistant, where I supported more than 200 students across multiple psychology and statistics courses. In this role, I led review sessions, delivered guest lectures, created study materials, and held office hours for one-on-one support. My tutoring approach combines clear explanation, empathy, and evidence-based learning strategies. I enjoy helping learners break down difficult concepts, strengthen writing and critical thinking, and build confidence in their academic abilities. I have worked with high-school, college, and adult learners, and I tailor my teaching style to each student’s goals and learning preferences.
I am especially experienced in tutoring psychology, study skills, executive functioning, public speaking, and academic writing/proofreading. Many students come to me for help with organizing their coursework, improving time management, preparing for exams, or learning how to communicate ideas clearly. My goal is to make learning approachable and to give students practical tools they can continue using beyond our sessions. Whether you’re preparing for an exam, improving your writing, or looking for support in staying organized and confident, I’m here to help you make real, lasting progress.
