I am currently a pre-med student at Arizona State University with a 4.00+ GPA and have over 1000 hours of experience teaching organic chemistry in a lab setting. As a lab instructor for organic chemistry courses, I’ve had the opportunity to work with college students ranging from freshman to seniors. My role involved not only assisting students during lab sessions but also tutoring them one-on-one, helping them master complex concepts and improve their grades.
My teaching approach focuses on breaking down complex organic chemistry concepts into simple, digestible pieces, and I’ve found that active learning methods—such as problem-solving, concept mapping, and step-by-step explanations—are highly effective in helping students understand and retain material. I’ve consistently received positive feedback from students who appreciate my ability to make organic chemistry more approachable and engaging.
In addition to my lab teaching experience, I’ve also been involved in volunteer tutoring, assisting fellow students in their study sessions and providing personalized feedback to improve their understanding of course material. This has allowed me to develop a flexible tutoring style that adapts to each student’s learning needs.
My goal is to provide a supportive, tailored tutoring experience for students of all levels, whether they are struggling with foundational concepts or aiming to fine-tune their knowledge for exams.
