Before moving to the US in 2011 for higher studies, I had completed my Bachelor's in Production Engineering from Mumbai University (India). I graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) in 2015 with a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering.

Professional background: I'm currently working as a Program manager at a Semiconductor manufacturing firm. Before moving to Arizona last Summer, I held the role of a Product and Process Improvement Specialist at a Laser manufacturing firm in NJ for 7+ years.
Teaching experience: I have 5 years of experience teaching Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics to Primary, Middle and Junior school students back in India. I was a Teaching Assistant for 2 years at my graduate school (RIT) as well. I have also trained / coached employees at my workplaces on the concepts of Lean manufacturing and Project management for 2 years.
Why teaching?
During my schooling days, I seldom understood the concepts taught especially in Physics and Mathematics. A fear had set in and I struggled overcoming it until i met a teacher who was able to teach concepts in these subjects in a very relatable and enjoyable way. This experience motivated me to help other students who struggled in their learning journey and make it fun for them by helping them understand the concepts from the root instead of memorizing. I believe my knowledge of the subject combined with my ability to understand a student's needs and my teaching ability helps me provide a very effective learning experience.
