Hello! I am a Level 5 TEFL Certified English Teacher and writer. I am certified to teach grammar, sentence structure, speaking, writing, and listening skills for testing as well as real world cultural and communicative English for everyday application. I can also help students improve their vocabulary, as well as learn the differences between creative and formal writing, and casual and professional speaking. I have about two years of experience on and off tutoring middle and high school age students with English formal essay-style writing and creative hobby-writing. (Both native and non-native speakers).
My lessons can be tailored to individual students needs, and I offer multiple methods of teaching to accommodate different learning styles and interests. I am very patient and can work with all levels of learners including adults. I seek to empower learners through my lessons so they can achieve whatever they hope to achieve.
My previous experience has been one-on-one and I am adept at re-framing concepts as well as leading students to self-correction so they can improve their comprehension and application of their target knowledge. I believe that anyone can learn and anyone can succeed, especially with the right teacher.
