My academic training was in engineering: I received my master's and doctoral degrees in metallurgy and materials science from Columbia University, and my bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art. In graduate school I worked for several years as a teaching assistant, which included some lecturing, grading, and tutoring.

After graduating, I worked as an engineer and accrued more than 20 years of experience in various segments of the technology industry, including aerospace, consumer electronics, and electrical and electronic manufacturing. I am qualified to teach physical science and basic engineering science courses, such as general chemistry and physics, as well as basic mathematics.

I have completed extensive coursework in related and relevant engineering science subjects (e.g., fluid and solid mechanics, thermodynamics, metallurgy/materials science).

I would be very happy to work with you in the study of any of these topics. Thank you for your consideration.

Knowledgeable and patient tutor

Robert tutored my daughter AP Physics this semester and she thinks he does a better job than her teacher! He even spent extra time off line after session to discuss problems with her. Great tutor, strongly recommend!

Best Math/Physics tutor!

Robert is one of the smartest people I know. He can solve basically any problem out there. Robert helped me for 2 years in subjects in Physics, Math, Excel, and reports. I will ask him for help in solid state later down the road. Highly recommend him as a tutor.

Good job

Robert was patient and helpful. He explained physics to me that helped me to understand. I usually feel so lost in my classes, but I can see that even just after one lesson I can already understand it better. I will use Robert again.

Great tutor A++

Robert Helped me realize my mistakes on material at hand. Furthermore It is really helpful when he writes down "why you actually use this formula". And this Why to use it instead of something else, is the foundation key to understanding the material and passing the exams.

Great Chemistry Session

My 16-year-old son connected well with Robert. He appreciated his tutoring style and working through the problems while answering any questions Bradley had. We will definitely schedule additional tutoring sessions.

Great College physics tutor

Excellent. My son said that he was able to grasp the concepts the way that Robert explained them. Robert was very patient and went beyond the surface questions.
