I have spent more than 30 years working with students of all ages, from early elementary through college and adulthood, helping them build confidence and skills in reading, writing, English, language development, and executive functioning. Teaching has always been deeply personal to me, and I truly love helping students discover their strengths. I have extensive experience supporting neurodiverse learners, students with learning differences, and children who benefit from individualized, compassionate instruction. My goal is always to meet each student where they are and create a learning environment that feels supportive, encouraging, and empowering.
For more than 13 years, I have also homeschooled and worked closely with families to create meaningful educational opportunities beyond traditional classrooms. I have founded and led large homeschool communities, developed enrichment programs, designed curriculum supports, and built family-centered learning spaces. This experience has given me a deep understanding of both academic instruction and the real-world challenges families face while navigating education. I believe learning should support the whole child academically, emotionally, and personally.
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in English from the University of Massachusetts Boston, graduating summa cum laude, and have earned certifications in TESOL, Brain Gym, neuroplasticity, language-based disabilities, ABA, sensory needs, and therapeutic-informed educational strategies. My specialized training allows me to work effectively with a wide range of learners and tailor my approach to each child’s unique needs. Above all, I bring warmth, patience, adaptability, and genuine passion to my work, helping students and families feel confident, capable, and truly supported.
