Bonjour!

I am a qualified French teacher with 10 years experience in Teaching French at schools as well as individually. My passion is to teach French in an engaging way, using a mix of strategies that allow my students to improve their French skills with each lesson.

My experience includes preparing students to various tests and exams such as SATs and high school tests. I can also help you with your college essay writing. In addition, I prepare students for entry to French schools by teaching them French while following the French curriculum. Some of my students are as young as 6 years old and my most senior student is 69! So remember, it is never to early or too late to learn a new language. As F. Fellini's once said "A different language is a different vision of life" and giving my students the opportunity to discover a new vision of life makes me an enriched and fulfilled person!

A little bit about my strategy

I am conscious that in order to be an efficient teacher you need to constantly work on your skills and widen your teaching knowledge. Thus, I always learn about new methods in teaching a foreign language.
For instance, during my lessons I introduce aspects of Comprehensive Input which is a new strategy used to enhance students communications skills and expose them to the new vocabulary on a regular basis, through repetition. It is a very effective method when it comes to learning a new language. It enables the students to memorize better new vocabulary and learn new structures not by studying grammar but by listening to the same sentences that are being repeated regularly during the lessons. Thus, the "input" is an essential part of learning here.
