I am a bilingual Spanish Teacher with 25 years of experience instructing students of all ages and proficiencies.
My experience includes the design and implementation of Spanish curriculums and innovative learning programs.
I have worked as a Spanish Teacher in my country, Colombia, and Spanish as a World Language Teacher in the United States in the Preschool, Elementary, Middle, High school, and College Level.
I especially enjoy developing and implementing Literacy programs and helping students advance their understanding of the Spanish language, culture, and civilization.
I also had the opportunity to belong and volunteer in two associations in Louisiana that promote the importance of Bilingualism: The Louisiana Consortium of Spanish Immersion Schools (LCSIS) and The Louisiana Association for Bilingual Education (LABE). Currently, I am a member of the Arizona Language Association (AZLA).
