My name is Naftali. My family and I moved to Arizona two years ago from San Diego, CA. We are starting a new life out here on the west coast.
Back in New York, I was a Special Education Teacher Assistant for 11 years. Now I am tutoring students online, and have my own radio podcast show.
I also have a high functioning autistic daughter that lives with my wife and I in Scottsdale AZ. We both take care of her too!

My classes consisted of 11 children in a self-contained classroom. Their ages range from 10 - 12 years old, and they are on different levels academically as well as emotionally. It is quite challenging and rewarding to deal with each child individually as well as collectively, to help them overcome their learning disabilities.
In 2013, I taught Kindergarten children.
I enjoyed each day Monday - Friday with my adorable Kindergarten children. I love playing with them, reading stories, and doing simple math problems! We have fun at recess and lots of birthday parties too!
My interest in working with Kindergarten children as well as older kids up to 6th grade has provided me an opportunity to grow up with and teach them skills that will last them a lifetime. I would like to think that I have made a lasting impression on them. I understand the challenges that these kids have with various subjects and how to help them accomplish their goals.
I feel each child should learn according to his/her ability whether he/she is a visual, hands-on, or a cognitive learner. I enjoy watching children finally understand a concept I teach them in any subject. I expect them to get great results with my help.
It is nice to be appreciated by my students as well as their parents. I have many "thank you" notes, which I have saved in my personal file.
