I am currently a dental student at the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health, where I have completed extensive coursework in the biomedical sciences, anatomy, physiology, microbiology, pathology, pharmacology, and clinical dentistry. My academic journey has given me a strong foundation in the sciences, but it has also taught me valuable lessons about learning itself. Early in my education, I struggled to find effective study methods for understanding and retaining large amounts of complex information. Through persistence, trial and error, and asking for help, I learned how to break down difficult concepts, make meaningful connections between topics, and improve long-term retention. These skills have been essential to my success in a demanding professional program and have given me insight into the challenges many students face when learning difficult material.

In addition to my academic training, I have experience mentoring and supporting fellow students in both formal and informal settings. Throughout dental school, I have helped junior students understand course content, develop study strategies, and build confidence in their abilities. My teaching approach focuses not only on explaining concepts but also on helping students learn how to learn. I believe that patience, encouragement, and active engagement are essential for academic growth.

My experiences have inspired me to tutor because I understand firsthand how frustrating it can be to spend hours studying without seeing results. After overcoming those challenges and mastering methods for comprehending and remembering complex topics, I am passionate about helping other students do the same.

DAT (Dental)

I’m a dental student with strong training in the core sciences—biology, general chemistry, organic chemistry, and anatomy—which formed the foundation for my academic success. I prepared for the DAT through a disciplined and consistent study routine, focusing on understanding concepts deeply and reinforcing them with regular practice. My diligence paid off, allowing me to earn a competitive DAT score and gain admission to dental school on my first attempt. My study skillset and discipline carried into my didactics at dental school where I passed every class on the first attempt while avoiding all-nighters.
