I have a B.S. in Brain & Cognitive Sciences from MIT and a PhD in Computational Neuroscience from Boston University. I have several years of experience working in (pediatric) brain research, as well as statistics, data analysis, and programming (especially in R). I have also studied extensively all math courses through multivariable calculus and linear algebra. I have gotten a perfect score on the GRE Math exam (for graduate school entrance).

I have several years of experience working in (pediatric) brain research, as well as statistics, data analysis, and programming (especially in R). I have also studied extensively all math courses through multivariable calculus and linear algebra. I have gotten a perfect score on the GRE Math exam (for graduate school entrance).
I have experience working with and tutoring students from ages 6 and up (including some college-age). I started tutoring when I was in high school and college, and have several years tutoring experience total (both one-on-one and in a tutoring center). I have specifically tutored students in Elementary Math, Pre-algebra, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Precalculus, Calculus, Linear Algebra, and Statistics.
I prefer to help students by guiding them through problems, giving them hints if necessary so they can understand how to complete the next step of a problem. I also enjoy creating new examples so students can get more practice in the topics they are studying.
