I am a graduate student in Biology at Arizona State University, where I specialize in human genetics, immunology, and anatomy & physiology. I currently serve as a Teaching Assistant for BIO 201 (Anatomy & Physiology) and have several years of experience teaching and mentoring undergraduate students in both lecture and laboratory settings.

Beyond the classroom, I’ve also tutored high school and college students in biology, genetics, and general science, focusing on building strong conceptual foundations and study strategies tailored to each learner’s needs. My approach blends active learning, visual aids, and real-world examples to make complex topics approachable and memorable.

I’ve taught hundreds of students, from first-year undergraduates to pre-medical candidates, both one-on-one and in small groups, and I take pride in helping students gain confidence and genuine curiosity in the sciences.

Approved Subjects

Genetics

Genetics

I serve as a College-Level Genetics Recitation Instructor at Arizona State University, where I lead review sessions and small-group discussions for undergraduate genetics courses. My instruction focuses on clarifying complex concepts such as Mendelian inheritance, gene expression, linkage mapping, and molecular genetics through active problem-solving and visual modeling. I have guided hundreds of students in mastering analytical thinking, data interpretation, and exam strategies in both in-person and virtual settings. My teaching philosophy emphasizes critical reasoning, pattern recognition, and connecting genetic principles to human health and disease.
Nutrition

Nutrition

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition Science from Arizona State University, where I developed a strong foundation in biochemistry, metabolism, and medical nutrition therapy. My experience includes coaching individuals and groups on balanced eating, sports performance, and preventive health through my work as a fitness instructor and medical assistant in a longevity-focused clinical setting. I emphasize evidence-based nutrition education, helping students understand the “why” behind dietary recommendations. My teaching style blends scientific accuracy with practical, real-world application, empowering learners to connect nutrition principles to human physiology and health outcomes.
