I’m a mechanical engineering graduate from Arizona State University with a passion for teaching one of my favorite subjects — mathematics. During my university career, I completed rigorous courses in Calculus, Linear Algebra, Statistics, Numerical Methods, and more, even earning a score of 120/100 on a partial differential equations exam.
While I’m new to professional tutoring, I’ve often been told — including by my Heat Transfer professor — that I have a rare ability to explain complex concepts in clear, simple terms. I want to apply that skill to help students master Calculus 3, a subject I know well and truly enjoy.
My teaching approach draws on years of observing what works and what doesn’t from great instructors at every stage of my education. I’ve learned that students succeed most when they connect with their teacher’s personality and when that teacher knows the material so well that even abstract ideas become accessible. My goal is to create that same experience for my students — to make learning both engaging and deeply understandable.
I’m inspired by educators like Nobel Laureate Richard Feynman, known as “The Great Explainer,” who could make topics as complex as superfluid helium understandable with elementary mathematics. Likewise, I aim to not only help students succeed in their coursework but also to make them fall in love with the subject itself.
