Hello, I'm Aria! I am a recent graduate from the University of Notre Dame, graduating magna cum laude with a BA in American Studies and International Peace Studies. For three years, I worked as a Writing Tutor at Notre Dame's Writing Center, one of the best in the country. I have helped over 250 undergraduate and graduate students through one-on-one peer tutoring during every stage of the writing process, from brainstorming to final revisions. Through this role, I also helped students develop their public speaking, presentation, and interview skills. While my areas of study focus on politics, social sciences, and international relations, I have worked with students from many educational backgrounds and fields. I also have experience tutoring high school and elementary students in various subjects, including writing, reading, conflict resolution, and SAT/ACT prep.
My tutoring philosophy is student-centric, prioritizing the needs of each individual student and creating a clear plan forward. Writing in any capacity, whether for an English paper or a university application, is an opportunity for students to share their unique voice, and it has been my passion to facilitate this storytelling.
