My name is Allie D. and since I can remember I have always had a true passion for teaching and inspiring life-long learners! I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Elementary and Special Education at Arizona State University. I have been a teacher for nine years and love watching my students grow and develop a love for learning. I have experience teaching, pulling small groups, and working one on one with first, second and third grade students in all subject areas.

I love all forms of teaching and learning, but tutoring gives me the opportunity to work one on one with a child and address their specific needs and goals. I do not believe in a "one size fits all" approach to teaching, rather I think it is important to differentiate each lesson for different students. I think it is extremely important to use a variety of materials, books, and games to help keep students engaged with learning. Getting to know the topics that interest a student encourages successful progress. It is my sincere delight to help your child in any academic area of need!
