I am an experienced educator and tutor with a background in teaching in Elementary and secondary school. I tutor all grade levels as well as those enrolled in undergraduate courses. I specialize in helping students dissect as well as understand what messages are being conveyed or which responses are appropriate in any given context via writing, reading, literature, parts of speech and punctuation. I understand how important expression is in both professional and practical environments, moreover I know the power of gaining accurate understanding so that appropriate responses are implemented. My goal is to make things “plain” and or less rigorous through both memorization and a solid understanding so that my students can move forward with confidence and excel at their highest potential.
Communication is a dynamic subject with several equally important elements such as interpersonal, intra-personal, non-verbal and many others. Having this awareness of relativity I can very easily identify and essentially dissect messages as well as convey ideas through print, speaking, and practical instruction. In addition to acquired knowledge I sharpen my skills daily through journaling, reading, and also instruction via tutoring.
I’ve had a love for fitness and well being for as early as I can remember. I played sports from age 7 up until my senior year of undergrad studies. Over time and to date I have acquired an immense amount of knowledge about physical activity and overall wellbeing in reference to fitness and health. I have a passion for motivating others and because I’ve witnessed countless health and physique transformations (for the better!) I am comfortably and confidently able to assist or recommend those on their fitness journey. It is in fact a lifestyle!
