Amira is a wonderful teacher. She is kind and patient. She tutors my four kids and two of my sons gave her a difficult time in the beginning but she was so patient. Now they ask me to when they will see Mrs. Amira. She spends extra time with the kids when they need help. She is also accommodating when I need to change or cancel our session. I feel so blessed that I found someone like her.

Amira makes learning Arabic with Tajweed very easy, she is patient extremely knowledgable and has helped me with learning Tajweed where as before my I did not know the rules of Tajweed. I meet her weekly and practice Quran and she teaches the meaning to me which adds a lot of value to my studies of the Quran. She nicely explains the rules of each letter for Tajweed and carefully guides me to help me learn more each week. I am very thankful to find Amira as she helps me improve in my Quran reading greatly. If you are trying to learn Quran, Arabic, etc I would highly recommend her for lessons as you will learn a lot.

This week was a bit challenging for me, as I hadn’t set aside enough time to review what I learned the previous week. However, the tutor was patient and even stayed overtime to ensure I read through the entire lesson.

First Day

My first lesson with Amira was incredible! I felt nervous at first, but she was patient and explained everything thoroughly. She began by assessing my current level and understanding, and we covered several lessons in one session. Amira offered helpful feedback and corrected my pronunciation, ensuring I improved along the way. She also shared useful resources and effectively utilized the app by displaying real-time examples on screen. I’m excited for my next session! Although I have a long journey ahead, I’m confident that Sister Amira can guide me to where I need to be as a learning Muslim, inshaAllah.
